I am a 24 year old living in the Boston area and I have been an athlete all my life. I attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I graduated in December of 2010 with a double major in English and Political Science. I was a 4 year member of the Women’s Swimming & Diving team and served as team captain my senior year. I swam competitively for 14 years and after attending numerous Nationals and the 2008 Olympic Trials, I retired in August of 2010. Since my swimming career has come to an end I have turned to running, yoga, and strength training as my primary forms of exercise. I also still use swimming as a cross training workout for running. I currently work in the financial industry and stay involved in swimming by coaching and teaching swim lessons at a local gym.
